<p>With a team of 1,200 dedicated human office-based transcribers, we offer flexible turnaround times to meet your needs. Whether you require files returned within 1 hour or prefer a timeframe of 3, 5, 12, 24, 48, or 72 hours, we are available 24/7 throughout the year.</p>

<p>You can download our app for free and take advantage of our £10 ($15) free trial credit to test our transcription service. Once the trial credit has been used, we charge an audio minute rate based on the selected turnaround time. Adding credit to your account is simple and can be done using PayPal or a debit/credit card.</p>

<p>IMPORTANT: While all users can record and edit audio files with our app, registration within the app is necessary to access dictate2us transcription features. The registration process only takes a quick 60 seconds!</p>

<h4>How does dictate2us work?</h4>

  <li>The audio file is securely uploaded to our transcription platform.</li>
  <li>A dedicated typist transcribes the audio into a Microsoft Word document.</li>
  <li>An editor reviews the document, making necessary amendments for accuracy and formatting.</li>
  <li>The document is proofread to ensure accuracy and quality.</li>
  <li>The finished document is then either emailed to you or made available for download.</li>

<h4>How do we charge for transcription?</h4>
<p>We charge per minute of audio, providing transparency and upfront knowledge of the file's cost before uploading. This pricing model reflects the fact that people dictate 3 to 4 times faster than they can type. For example, a 10-minute dictation file could take up to 40 minutes to transcribe. With dictate2us, you only pay for the actual audio duration of 10 minutes.</p>

<h4>How long does it take to transcribe?</h4>
<p>The dictate2us app allows for swift delivery of transcribed documents. Once your encrypted file arrives at our servers, it is promptly decrypted and assigned to your regular typist. After editing and proofreading, our online transcription platform will email you a copy of the finished document. Alternatively, if preferred, we can provide a download link for direct access on your phone, tablet, or PC. We return work in Microsoft Word format and can even type directly onto your personal letterhead or template.</p>

<h4>Data Confidentiality and Security</h4>
<p>At dictate2us, we prioritize the utmost confidentiality and security of your data. Our d2u Transcriber app employs state-of-the-art data security measures, including military-grade 256-bit encryption identical to that used in online banking and retail websites. Our servers are located in the UK and undergo daily hack-testing. Additionally, we are fully compliant with the ICO's data protection regulations and meet all requirements of HIPAA. Our office-based staff have signed non-disclosure agreements, and as we do not employ remote workers, they have no means of removing data from our systems.</p>
